Technical Lead – Remote or Hybrid

Technical Lead / Development Team Leader with experience in Software Development / Software Engineering required by leading SaaS provider to work on their industry leading software projects.

With high level growth, ambitious plans and strong financial backing – the team have plenty of exciting projects to work on.

You will take technical leadership of software application projects working with the Agile Software Product team. This will include:

  • Organising and prioritising the teams day-to-day activities to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products updates.
  • Ensure the team is adhering to best practices in development including code quality, performance and security.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate into technical requirements.
  • Work with the team on following Agile methodologies, improve processes and help them develop their skills.

Your skills and experience as a Technical Lead required

  • Worked in an Agile product team leading software projects.
  • Come from a Software Engineering, Software Development, Development Team Leader, Technical Lead background in either of the following: C#, .NET, ASP.NET or JavaScript.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Leadership skills and an interest in leading technical projects and helping team members technically.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – lots of stakeholder interaction.
  • Able to work in a remote environment and prioritise your workload.
  • Be able to positively and collaboratively influence decision making and improve practices across the development team.

Salary: To £65K + benefits

Location: Remote (UK based as required to attend company events from time to time) or Hybrid (can go to Glasgow or London office if you prefer).

Implementation Consultant – Software, SaaS

Implementation Consultant / Software Implementation Specialist with experience of implementing complex software projects for customers, required by market leading SaaS provider.

Working with leading customers in the Services, Leisure, Retail and Hospitality sectors, this role will play an important part in taking new customers from post-sale through to the full rollout of their platform.

The job will include working with customers on requirements, customising clients systems, demonstrations, testing and troubleshooting the setup of the configured platform and supporting training sessions.

Location: Remote (UK based as required to attend one of the offices from time to time and customer sites) or Hybrid (can go to Edinburgh or London office if you prefer, some staff do 3 days a week in the office).

Travel: The role requires travelling to customer site 1-2 days a month. Customers in UK and Europe.

Salary: £35K to £45K depending on experience plus bonus, share scheme, 22 days + 3 days wellbeing holiday, pension, training & development opportunities

Background:

  • You will have implemented complex software projects ideally within the HR, Retail, Hospitality, Leisure or Workforce Management (other B2B software will be considered).
  • Must have the ability to engage with the customer at all levels, build strong relationships and able to influence.
  • Competent project managing and any scoping requirements experience ideal.
  • Able to work to set timelines and track record of successful implementations of software products.

Software Implementation Consultant – Remote

Software Implementation Consultant with a Software or Technology industry background required to join Customer Success function of this exciting SaaS provider.

Their Implementation Consultant’s take charge of guiding new clients of their software system from Point of Sale, through system set-up and then go-live. This will include taking the lead or assisting on:

  • System configuration and data implementation
  • System training and orientation
  • Relationship Management and Project Activities

Experience required

  • You will have worked in a software implementation, support, onboarding or consultative role directly facing clients for at least 18 months, preferably in a Technology or Software-related industry.
  • You are comfortable working in a time-bound environment, where you will have to adapt your schedule quickly to pick up on new client requirements and demands.
  • You are confident with technology and adept in picking up new systems, software and associated terminology.
  • You are a confident Microsoft Office user, particularly with Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organisational skills; working across multiple projects with concurrent deadlines, your time management is exemplary and you always deliver work in a timely fashion.

Desirable Requirements

  • Project Management expertise or qualifications.
  • Experience of preparing for and running training sessions (whether internally for staff or externally for clients).
  • Additional language skills and confidence with using these professionally.
  • HR sector knowledge/interest or CIPD qualification.

  • Salary – £30,000-£40,000 depending on experience.
  • Remote (or Hybrid if prefer) working – the implementation team is based from London, however they only go into the office infrequently, so happy to accommodate remote or hybrid working arrangements.
